Round the clock migration. The TapeMaster-SA will migrate from older generation LTO to the latest Ultrium technology with lights out operation. User only needs to unload and reload on average once every 24-48 hours.

Unattended Cloning. Make a perfect duplicate of any LTO Tape type for off-site storage or to share with your client or colleagues across the country or around the world. Remember, LTO tapes are safer to courier than mechanical hard disk drives and a single tape can contain up to 30 Terabytes!

Offline Operation. No need to run your backup a second time just to get a duplicate set. TapeMaster-SA runs independent of your backup server and does not require a computer or software since it is 100% standalone.

Plug and Play Operation. As a "plug-n-play" solution, simply plug in, load tapes and select "copy" from the built-in LCD display. The TapeMaster-SA clones tapes on a bit-for-bit basis, meaning it can duplicate any tape (i.e. WinTel, LINUX/UNIX™, Apple®, IBM®, Oracle®, HP® minis and mainframes, and more) with 100% accuracy every time. It doesn't matter what kind of data is on the original master, the replicator’'s job is to make sure all the data is transferred accurately from the master to each destination tape.

Continuous Operation/Bad Tape Handling. TapeMaster-SA will automatically identify and isolate any defective LTO tape cartridge during operation and will not require operator intervention in order to complete job.

100% Barcode Label Support. Built-in media scan and barcode scan feature ensuring you have an organized and painless workflow especially during your large projects.

Encrypted LTO Tapes. TapeMaster-SA allows the user to to perform duplication or migration of encrypted tapes easily and seamlessly when combined with appropriate Key management server.

LTO Tape Forensic Duplication. The standalone TapeMaster-SA LTO Ultrium duplication device gives the Computer Digital Forensic Investigator the ability to make perfect copies of any suspect LTO tape at extremely fast speeds exceeding 300MBps native or up to 760MBps compressed. Simply enable the write-protect tab on each suspect tape and load into the master LTO tape slots, then, insert write enabled blank tapes into the target LTO tape slots and select "COPY & VERIFY" mode to start duplication process.

Two Levels of Verification. Our system will automatically perform two levels of verification during the cloning process to ensure your tapes are 100% accurate. First, when data is written to the target tape it is read and immediately verified by the target tape drive. This allows the target drive to immediately to write a second copy of any data that fails the verify process. Once the "COPY" process is completed a second "VERIFICATION" process can be initiated whereby the data on master tape is compared bit-by-bit to data on target tape to ensure 100% accuracy.
